There are good supermarkets in Ballylickey (which has an excellent health food section) and Glengarriff - both of which are open 7 days per week. There are also a wide variety of craft shops in both Glengarriff and Bantry. Bantry is the nearest town which has a bigger supermarket and a larger selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. It also has several chemists, hair salons, and other retail outlets. There is a traditional market in the square every Friday, and on the first Friday of each month, the fair attracts even more stall holders than usual and has livestock, attractions and much more variety.
